A true tune will do what this device does and a whole lot more. If you paid the same amount for each variable it adjusts - things that should be adjusted in correlation with throttle response, you'd quickly see that this device isn't worth it...but to each his own. Don't be surprised though if you start seeing error messages because you're fiddling with only one piece of the equation.
Adjusted my original jab to be more "correct".

Nice car Sledge! Very similar taste to mine.

I will admit I too am unsure if I would spring for the vitesse but I don't think I have heard a single person with experience who doesn't love this mod. Same goes for other people I know with fly by wire throttle controllers on other vehicles. Makes me wonder how noticeable if at all the throttle feel is between tour and track modes on a stock SS.

I might steal your touch on the intake portion of the engine cover, maybe work in white lettering on the fuel rail covers to change it up slightly.

Keep up the good work!

The stuff I wouldn't have done personally, no knock on you at all - Never in a million years would I have messed with the stock air box or gotten a Vittesse. I also wouldn't paint an engine cover...I usually toss those things. Again, different strokes for different folks, but that thing is just a cheap hack from ebay that different places have been selling in some form or another for a lot of cars. I'm going to get a professional tune from one of Jannetty's guys when I know my car is solid after a few thousand miles - maybe even 10k - considering the type of issues I've been seeing pop up. I think I saw your car on a dyno in one video so you might've gotten a tune already and aren't even using that thing anymore.
My problem with a tune is a voided warranty if something happens to the motor. The controller is a hot fix that doesn't change the stock variables, but increases how quickly they are applied. Once my warranty is complete I will probably move to change more with the car.

The controller isn't for everyone, nor would I urge anyone to buy something they are uncomfortable with. Cheap or pricey, it changes the feel of the car for the better in my opinion.

I haven't done anything to the airbox outside of a quick test to see if the car was truly suppressed with limited air flow. I am looking to the GM offering which improves the car for the better currently.

The engine intake manifold is ugly, the cover looks better with the side rails

Overall just having fun with the car and love what GM has given us to play with.

I might be sold to not do the body kit. I want the rear diffuser, but I doubt it will look good without the side skirts.

I am hoping for someone to come out with a tune on the fly solution. Like the Cobb Accessports OR flash from your laptop with a OBD-USB cable (which is what I had with this Audi).

I think front lip and rear diffuser would look good without the side skirts. I like the front and rear pieces but not the side skirts so that's what I'm planning to do.

Sledge, what did you do for the interior lights? I think you added a brighter bulb? I'm ordering the reverse lights you posted on here. Car just came in

Also, do you have any videos for the reverse lights? First time working on a car, want to follow an expert.

EDIT: I'm an edit, just saw your first post.

Thanks man

edit 2: these are out of stock, any alternatives? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o06_s00
