Happened here as well. '16 2SS A8. 20k miles. 6 Track days up till that point, in case that sort of abuse is a useful data point for people.

Dealer did the special flush @ 20k
Drove ~500 more normal driving miles
Track weekend
Drove ~200 more normal driving miles
Track day
Drove ~200 more normal driving miles
Put it up for winter storage

Have not had the issue recur after the flush.

Been dealing with mine for several months and dreading taking it in - '16 2SS A8 18k miles.

Finally took it in today and also gave them the TSB printout and just got the phone call as I expected "couldn't reproduce the issue, and the TSB isn't for your transmission...blah, blah...".

I am going to go in tomorrow to reproduce the issue with them in the car (and hopefully not have to put my foot up someones backside...).

Did the triple flush a month ago...maybe 300-400 miles and still smooth. They did not give me a new T/C.

I am so on the fence with fixing it myself via tune and quality T/C or milking it with the warranty and trading.

Once I start upgrading...the warranty goes away.

The car is pretty awesome otherwise....and a great platform for upgrades.

(good news is my wife has acquired a lackluster appeal towards "our" camaro now due to the issues with it...lol)

Had mine done about 1000 miles ago with only 4000 miles on the car. Recently started to vibrate when speed gets around 55-57 mph. does not do it consistently as it was before the flush, but I have a feeling it will progress in getting worse over time.

New poll is up in the Ask Al section. The A8 TC shudder made the list this time. Everyone needs to cast a vote so we can get some answers.

Come on guys, the Launch control question has more votes. I know there are way more of us with A8 issues than M6 ZL1 guys.

Go vote!

I don’t have the shudder yet but voted for it as it might come in or just after the warranty. the vote are 85 to 35 for the launch
