No, not really. I admit I don't road-race it, nor do I do smokin' burnouts very often... but I do leave some nice long black marks on some back country roads now and then. The key is "rotation" (just side to side, of course) at every oil change (around 5K miles).

NOTE: I did notice today that the center grooves on the rear tires are mighty shallow though. I'm shootin' for 40K miles.

Rotate? I thought they were directional.

I'm at 30k and about to do 2rd rear set and 1/2 worn on the 1st set of fronts.

Add 1 full set if you count the factory tires...
Remove a zero from that 37,000 and that may be more realistic from what I got from my last set of Pirelli's, too damn soft!

Got a great deal from a fellow member here on Camaro5 on some headlights with Diode Dynamics Halos installed. Not a fan off aftermarket Halos but these might work I'm liking them. It was worth the shot for what I paid.

I started it up and goosed it a couple times so I could hear the super charger whine....to nasty outside to take it out to play.

Removed chrome wheel skins that came with car, replaced with black. Took her to the wash for a thorough cleaning and shine.
Thanked the maker that I live in the southwest and don't have to worry about ice/snow issues that are grounding some of my fellow members.
Prepping for black powder coated billet grills, top and bottom.

Also noticed that front shock/strut assembly does not appear to have ANY support bolts on either side. What gives?

"Rotate" side to side ONLY. The factory P-Zeros are NOT directional. The "outside" part of the tire is marked as such and so long as the tires are mounted properly, swapping them side to side about every 5,000 miles will serve you well (see your owner's manual for details).
