Engine Treatment

Does or has anyone used any of these products? Sea foam, Lucas Oil, B-12 Chemtool? The Lucas Oil treatment says you can add it to your oil also. Just wondering

I do not buy into any of those additives. The only thing that ever goes in my engine is oil!

I think adding these to your oil is a really bad idea. These products break down oil. I've used Seafoam for intakes and fuel tanks only.

That is what I was thinking myself. The reason I asked is my daughter has a 2013 Sonic LTZ 1.4L turbo and when she took it in for a oil change and routine maintenance they asked her about the B-12 Chemtool that they recommended for fuel injector cleaner and since she was not sure how the previous owner took care of it she said yes without contacting me first and now her engine light is on and it sometimes stumbles and hesitates on idle and acceleration. So I called them and jumped their asses and have a appointment Monday. I guess they put 2 cans of it in for 1 full tank of gas. Unreal! Thanks for the info MiamiBlueCamaro and all the comments.

They WORK*

*==== in very old / high mileage cars I've used seafoam in an old track car beater years ago to "revive" it and lubro moly's version of the same engine detergent

***THERE'S NO NEED to dump this into any car under 100k unless there's proof of owners never/ rarely changing oil.

NO REASON ESPECIALLY to put in a 206 camaro........no no no
