Detailing Car with PPF
I have XPel PPF on my car and want to know what's the best way/products to use to detail (wax/polish) with? I currently don't have a DA polisher (just a cheapo 6" random orbital). I'll eventually get a DA, but for now just want the best for my baby. I have been using Mothers Reflections car wax and top coat.
thanks |

I wouldn't use the polisher or polish on the XPEL. Any polymer sealant or coating is fine for XPEL. Wash it, then seal it. Blackfire Crystal seal is a perfect sealant for it.

This product mixed as a detail spray is amazing on protective film. It works very well on everything it touches. So impressed with it in all of its uses. On PPF it has been the best thing I have ever tried.
https://www.carpro-us.com/daily-deal...te-17oz-500ml/ This is my product of the year choice, love this stuff. Here is a shot of it applied to the gill area of a 5th gen. The ppf covers the gills and ends at the belt line. Note the beltline of the door looks the same, except the door has no pff applied. The first time I used it I couldnt believe how well this worked. |

For the parts of the car not covered by the Expel I can still use the Mothers wax/top coat then seal it as well with the Crystal seal?

No seal over wax, either or seal or wax any surface, your mothers will be fine on the XPEL.
Wax is dead though if you're buying new stuff. Sealants last longer. |

Thanks, that a whole lot easier. Wash > clay occasionally > seal. Pretty simple.
