DRL Color Mods: any news?
I still have hopes that someone out there will produce some color changing Daylight Running lights for the new Camaro that can look as mean as the SEMA concept car was with the red lights
Anybody know if Oracle, or any other aftermarket company, is working on this? I sent an email to Oracle's R&D folks, no reply yet (since I just sent it like 10 minutes ago lol) but wanted to know if any other companies are working on it, or if anyone knows if Oracle is on it already.

why not both?
I know they have color changing kits for last gen, so if I can get one of those, I would be so stoked! that way I can go from red to amber or white when cops are in view

My old roommate had red lights in his Camaro.. Got pulled over a bit for it. But being a Marine had its perks..
I would love blue/red.. rough price estimates? |

a few bucks more than the last gen? according to this phastek link for the last gen halo kit, it will be at least $400 for the color shifting one http://www.phastekperformance.com/20...s-2641-333.htm with the colorshifting kit, you wont have to worry too much about getting pulled over

Night Owl has a kit to turn C5 halos into RGB halos. I believe it is done by replacing the white LED with a RGB LED. I have contacted them to see if they have plans to do the same for the C6 running lights.

Is it free? And considering you kind of need the headlights, I don't see too many people jumping on board on this offer lol.

That email response came from info@oraclelights.com
Its a reply from Justin Hartenstein, their R&D contact that i got from this link: http://www.oraclelights.com/contacts I just sent an email to him from there, and he replied quickly. That would be awesome if you or anyone else volunteered, i would love to get this ball rolling I'm assuming so. I didnt ask.

I shy away from getting the attention of the cops.
I would like a dark amber like in the pictures other's have posted (at least to my eyes they are a dark amber). But they'd need to do both sets of DRLs that I have.

I'm not sure what the confusion is. They are shown in red here, but if you can get red you can get RBG option as well. With RGB you can choose what ever color you like. Justin is a good guy and so is Melissa -- I had many of there products on my 5 gen without ever a problem. I would be interested in this option as well. Would be curious to see what they come up with.
