It wasn't a bad look, and it unfortunately didn't live very long until the 2015 Mustang came out. I just figure it's a more logical progression from the original quad lamps on the 5th gen Camaro. Plus, it ends up mirroring the design scheme of the 6th gen's front RS head lights — a light bar with a dark center. It just makes a lot more sense.

At least it's better than horizontal lamps that look similar to what the majority of modern cars have. As Camrys and Toyotas aim to look sportier to boost sales, something like a Camaro needs to take a bolder leap to differentiate itself. The 2016's current lamps are just not bold enough to stand on their own. They are a vague nod to the Stingray because the guy who designed the C7 Corvette (Tom Peters) also lead the 6th gen Camaro's design. He also lead design of the infamous Pontiac Azktek which has the worst rear end of any car in history. It was nice when the Camaro looked like nothing else in Chevy's lineup and had that sort of black sheep / concept car feeling.

I honestly really like the look of the Gen6 tail lights (The SS variants).

That looks amazing, I'll definitely be considering getting an aftermarket hood like that.

I agree, and now once the aftermarket makes something like it, you either have to get a new hood or swap with a v6 or i4 guy because those nostrils cant be covered up...or keep the nostrils AND the extractor...hmmm wonder how that would look.

I feel the hood should have either the stock vents or the heat extractor you put in, not both.

Looks good though.
