Hope the interior has a wrap around console like the Challenger update. Couple that with a well placed four pack and I'd be drooling.

Sang Yup Lee did the 5th gen.
He has since moved to the Volkswagen/Audi Advanced studio in California as Chief Designer of Exterior.

Those two pictures are a great example of the discrepancy of the appearance in different models. People need to relax. I am confident it will look bad @ss.

It already looks badass!! People were just expecting an entirely new concept. Wait until this time next year, when we see them with aftermarket wheels, hoods, etc... This car will crush the competition.

Come on guys! We're getting a totally new Camaro today. I'm not excited about the looks either, but it's not bad looking.
We are getting - New turbo 4-cyl engine, that will spank the ecoboost! New V8 that produces more power than the current offerings. A new SS that handles as well as the current 1LE. .. and that's just three things! Imagine the new car with some options and mods! It's going to kickass!! I was hoping for a really cool, retro, muscle body too, but we didn't get it. We are getting a lot of cool stuff though. The new car is certainly not a dud. There is a lot to be excited about here.

Looks like car under wraps is silver.. I wish they'd show a more attractive color. Maybe they swoop in with more cars.

I wish those that are saying this would just stop.
Yes, SOME people wanted an entirely new version of the Camaro. But many of us, myself included, just wanted it to look like the 5th gen. Ya know, that sorta retro, muscular American muscle/pony car look. From the CNBC shots, it looks like we'll get a softened, watered down version of the 5th gen. I'm still holding out hope, though.

those are the RS and SS/RS packages, so it's not the LS model at all. Meaning it gets worse! These stock non-RS cars look great, never would have had the stuff said about them like these pictures have so far... It's not the same thing as looking as a 1LS and expecting it to look like a ZL1... That is the top of the line RS model, and that is at least an SS-RS model. Again... meaning there is an uglier version of both of those. Unless the halogen, cheaper versions actually look better. Guess we'll see. I'm not saying it's an UGLY car... it's just not something I'd catch myself drooling over. A stock SS at the dealer when they came out, even with the refresh coming out, had a much greater effect than this has had so far. We'll see once better resolution pictures are out, but so far very few people are impressed. It's obviously not as good looking as the 5th gen, because if we compare public reaction even to low quality pictures of stock 2010s or 2014s the majority is clearly with it. The performance of the 6th gen will definitely be better though, so that's one factor for the higher end models. But for the cheaper models which keep the name going... Not so sure they'll be selling. |

Kinda wish GM would've went the same route as ford with the 4 cylinder being faster than the 6. |
