ZL1 on Pfadt or BMR drop springs
Looking for some images of ZL1's on Pfadt 1.2 or BMR 1.0 drop springs. I have searched and found a few but hoping there are some better images out there.
Since dropping the vehicle is rough on the struts has anyone experienced any wear issues with the mag ride? Will it be effected like your typical strut ? Thanks guys |

I'm lowered on BMR 1.4" kit. Ride is amazing, handling even better, no clearance issues whatsoever. And as long as you correctly install the springs and adjust the camber and toe to as close as stock you shouldn't have any abnormal wear.

Here is 2011Black2SS's ZL1 on the Apex/Pfadt 1.25" springs. They have been on for about a year now and no issues. The car rides and handles very well. I am sure he will be along to provide his own feedback.

I have the PFADT springs on mine and a friend has the BMR springs on his Z and they look like the ride height is the same when side by side. You shouldn't have any probs with the mag ride as long as you don't cut the wires to do the work. Additionally the ride height sensors are self adjusting so there will be nothing to do in that area.

Clean looking ride. Where did u get the hid's or whatever on ur running lights.. I know the part number is a psx26w or somthing like that and can't find any aftermarket bulbs like silver star or anything for them. I hate the mismatched blue headlights and the yellow running lights underneath

Beautiful cars guys and thanks for the responses. One last question when doing an "even all around drop" either 1 inch or 1.2 inch does the rear appear lower than the front?
A couple of the images make it appear that way but it is probably just the angle of the camera. |

might want to check out Hurst. They are releasing springs early June for our cars. I just installed the proto's on mine the other day and so far they are great!

Question, If I were to get 1.2" drop springs by BMR Front/Rear would I need to change the camber and toe? I'm running with 275/40/20 9.5" front and 10.5" Rear 295/40/20 (Not a ZL1)
