This! No doubt. It'll be lighter. My guess is 300lbs lighter than SS. Around 3450-3500lbs. Hopefully has MORE power than now naturally aspirated. A 12.5 second SS would be great.
Then issue out another Z/28 that weighs about 3250-3300 lbs with an LS7 AND an optional SS with an LS7 with a track pack or just a dry sump LS7 in it.

Anyone who refers to previous generation intervals to predict the 6th gen's debut is delusional.

the next Camaro will be on the same platform as the Cadillac ATS , which is out, and CTS, which is coming out later this year. the 6thgen will almost assuredly be out for 2016, not only because they already have the chassis, not only because there's a new mustang , but that platform weigh's a few hundred pounds less.

Nobody knows except engineering. But we can speculate pretty well at this point. Especially since we know when the 5th gen will be going offline at Oshawa.

Come on, why would a salesman lie about something like this? You can trust whatever he says 100%. You can also believe him when he says that everyone is paying sticker price, and that you should never buy a car without the extended warranty and the dealer installed paint sealant.
