I'll be ready in about 2016. Its not a damn PC, i'd like to actually enjoy the thing rather than it already be outdated.
Who cares about exclusivity. Enjoy the Camaro, give it time before the next gen. |

I personally am looking forward to the 6th gen. Weight reduction, better engines, should be a fun time.

New to the roads? The concept, which was nearly identical to production, debuted in 2006...the design is nearly 7 years old already. I still love the way it looks, but it's not getting any newer. I'm curious to see what the 6th generation brings. I may make a decision between upgrading to a later 5th gen or getting an early 6th gen.

The interior is getting a complete rehaul though, which was desperately needed.

I also feel the same way, along with CamaroKevin, and my 2011 Camaro doesn't even have 3,000 miles on it yet (close, but not yet).
No matter what the 6th Generation Camaro looks like, it won't make me dislike my 5th Generation at all...they're STILL awesome cars. Every once in a while I thought to myself that if they really wanted the 5th Gen to be inspired by the 1st Gen, they should have made the 5th Gen last only the three years of 2010, 2011, & 2012 (just like the 1st went 3 years). But then, seeing as how these Camaro's are as fabulous as we all feel about them, I want them to last longer along the lines of "Don't Mess With A Good Thing" (or in this case...Don't End It Too Soon). I also agree with some people who think that the 5th Gen will be a tough act to follow, and the 6th Gen might be a disaster just based on how good it would have to be to top how we feel about the 5th. Time will tell.

The Gen5 has another 2 model years left. We'll probably see some minor facelifts next year because it will be the 5th year for the the Gen5. We'll probably also see a Z/28 next year. I was originally going to trade up my 2LT to Gen5 Z/28. Now my thinking is to keep my Gen5 forever and buy a 50th anniversary Gen6 Z/28. It'll be awesome to have both generations.

Somewhat of a mystery? You don't visit Jalopnik do you? One of GM's suppliers accidentally posted a video of their mold and die technology and it happened to be of the C7 Corvette front and rear bumpers. They matched Jalopnik's renderings perfectly.
