OP, I definitely would have told that guy "BITCH! YOU DRIVE A 4 BANGER!" end of story. When others start making your payments, then and only then, can they tell you what you "should've gotten".

I love the idea of the yellow tags for the drunks. I think if Texas did that it would cause a shortage of yellow paint. |

Man, I feel for you. All the time when somebody I know see's my car for the first time, they ask if its an SS. I tell them yes, and they always make some remark about the V6. I then tell them how the V6 is still moderately quick and of course faster than the van they're driving.
One guy even asked me "Hey is that an SS or a Really Slow?" I asked him, "Whats a really slow?" And he proceeds to tell me thats what everyone calls the V6 he thinks RS is the trim level. I've never heard it called that before, but he kinda lost his thunder when I told him my car was technically a Really Slow. |

Dude V6 is a GREAT CAR!! bigger isn't better! you have better MPG. the car is less expensive. subtle and good looking. V8 is for the people who want more power

well i feel using "what do you drive" excuse is not a very good one. if the point is valid then what ever the other person drives should not matter. the guy would rather have a SS, as would most people. its nothing to get mad over.
most people do not know enough about cars, all they know is that a v8 is fast. they dont understand that the v6 is decently powerful. |

And bigger insurance payments. I am very happy with the 6... I would rather have the 2lt rs over a 1ss non rs.

There are three single turbo builders at 400+rwhp, 2 twin setups w/one who is putting the final parts in for 600rwhp, 2 superchargers being build, plenty of nitrous builds, or just a plethera of bolt ons to put you at 350ish at the crank. Absolutlely no reason, to sit and hohum about being teased for sitting on a stock v6. A stock SS will get spanked by plenty of other cars out there. Man, these same threads get old, and really? MikeSS? You are in everyone of them.

I really dont care what other people think. I don't need to have the fastest car on the road. I just want one that I love to drive every time I get in and I have that now.
