WHP guessing game!

Recap on the car and mod. The car is a ZL1 1LE with the A10 transmission. Currently has magnuson 2650, stock headers, stock cam, stock lt4 fueling with the dsx aux low side, Rotofab big gulp, NW 103 TB. Car made 670whp on pump 91 on 15# of boost. We were at the limit of the high side fueling.

New mods: toohighpsi port injection with reflex controller, 2 inch headers with cat delete and x pipe, 85mm upper pulley, tcm unlock/tune.

What are your guesses on pump 93 and E85? Car will be taken apart soon and hope to be on the dyno in a month.

For those who have a similar build, please share your number.

If you can run 15 psi on E85 you should make over 850. I wouldn't even consider running 91 or 93 octane with your setup.

Not trying to chase after number but it would be awesome if I can get 850whp on E85. I agree that I probably would not be running on 93 much, only for longer drive incase some gas station doesn't have pump E85.

My guess is 780-800whp on E85 @ 15psi. I am not even throwing a 93 number out there...that is A to B fuel when you are in a pinch.

My 850 is probably high, Kings probably closer to right at 800 and I agree 93 octane shouldn't even be used with port injection, never if you have E85 in your area.

800whp on E would still be awesome. Guessing I won't be able to hit 850-900 without heads/cam? If I am already doing port for fueling, is meth injection still beneficial? I'm trying to stay away from it but I know alot of people run it.

I think you could hit 850, just pulley down even further. 2650 can make quite a bit more boost than 15psi.

If he was at LT1 compression 15 psi would get close but LT4 10:1 compression will need a few more psi. Look at the ZR1, makes 750bhp @ 15psi on 93 octane. I believe they dyno upper 6's. bolt-ons and E with stock pulleys make around 760-780whp.

Yea that make sense. Do you think a 80mm upper pulley then? Or do you think i should do a lower pulley?

I would switch to the THPSI 10 Rib with a 9.25 lower like I have. You get the Lt5 tensioner with it and you can still run an 8 rib belt if you want to.

Does sound like a good plan. I might have to save the lower pulley for another time and just be excited for what the car is about to make lol. Probably going to do cooling mods next.
