Based on your mods on 93 I think your car should make somewhere between 500 whp and 525 whp. As others have said your torque may take a hit. Stab the throttle at 4K. It should pull like a bat out of hell from 4-7k versus your old setup. I followed your threads earlier. If it does not feel like it’s pulling hard then maybe you had more engine damage than you initially thought you had.

Idk, no noises from the bottom end, and the pistons and cylinder walls looked fine. Oil looked fine too. It definitely is pulling harder. Previously, I would have been fighting for a 10 in 4000+ DA.

I don’t mean to be rude, but I don’t believe you. If you went 8.4x FBO E85, at 3200 DA, you are the world record holder by a long shot. Unless your car weighs 3200 lbs.

Can you show that dragy run?

i do not have any of that dragy info. that was a few years ago.
i made a thread about my pass at the drag strip. if i had to guess, given your 60-130, id put your car around 121-123 mph in the 1/4. which imho is pretty far off from where it should be. i noticed small changes in tuning can equate to large differences with these cars. after going to the drag strip i added the ati damper and cut the face off the rotofab airbox. initial testing showed the car was slow by 3 mph or so. once retuned it was 1.5 mph faster than its best previous 1/4 mile pass.

I think everyone puts way too much stock in dyno readings. Do we do mods to increase dyno results or increase acceleration? The latter, of course. So, all that should matter are the before and after 60-130 runs, in similar weight, DA, and slope. Also, wind plays a role as well, and that's a variable that Dragy doesn't account for; so try to get similar wind direction as well, but that's much harder to control.

also not a tuner. i logged the car and sent them to one. he revised and sent back.
gpi has a good reputation for tuning. id be surprised if your car has no issues and is still making bolt on power. i don't think it's a dud because apparently it was in line with bolt ons. from the sounds of it, if you log the car and see what's going on you will find the issue. id start there. especially before dynoing again.

GPI says it looks dialed on 93.

then i would start the diagnosis process. the car is missing 100 hp somewhere. compression check etc.

I'm gonna post this so anyone can give me their opinion on if it seems like its running good. The DA is somewhere around 5500 where I am at (Lubbock Tx.).
60-130 pull.zip I promise its not a virus lol.

Pretty expected given a 5500 DA which is crazy to think about. I'd hate to see what my car does in that DA, I should probably go make coffee while I'm waiting to get to 130. lol I would like to see what your MAS Air Flow (SAE) is though. That can give you some indication of what horsepower you are making in real time. Bare in mind I'm no tuner, and I yield to the tuner guys here, but I notice your Intake Cam Angle is at 0 degrees through your entire run. Not sure if that's normal for your SS3, but I know on my BTR 220 cam I'm at 2.4 degrees during my run. The only reason I bring this up is because in my situation my cam settings were not set in my tune when I got the car back. Not saying that is your issue but maybe one of the more experienced tuner guys can comment on that? In my case setting the cam settings increased airflow right off the bat. More air flow = more HP. Also, IAT would be useful to see, tells us what kind of air is going into the intake. Intake Air Temperature. One thing that does give me a little questioning look is your Cylinder Air Mass. 0.80. The higher that number is the more power you are making as well. Mine for example ranges from 0.92 to 1.02 at WOT. Now that may have something to do with me on E85 vs you on 93. The other thing I think can cause that 0.80 in your log I assume would be a lower compression cylinder than my car. I'll let the tuner guys comment on that one. You may want to ask KingLT1 about this one, but I also notice your KPA peaks at 86-87. King told me for my car at 95 was lower than he'd like that he'd prefer to see it at 97 or so. Again I yield to the tuner guys because it could just be build differences between our cars. Note: Also, everything I said here could be completely meaningless as well relative to your car. I can only go by what I saw on my car and what I see in your log.
