Catch Cans in these cars are a polarizing topic. I run an Elite E2X and can’t be happier. Boosted cars are going to have an increased amount of blow-by. I chose to protect mine and could not be happier with the amount of blow-by my can collects. |

Nice to see!! The reason some catch very little and some more is the different internal designs of the cans. 99% of all cans ONLY trap between 15 and 30% of what enters them allowing the rest to pass through and still be ingested. Our E2-X systems are app. 95% effective so there is no close second by a long shot. And for any that feel a GDI engine does not need one no matter if stock or heavily modified, just look at this oil analysis at over 13,000 miles on the oil and an engine making over 20# of boost driven hard: Note the lab techs comments. As we are one of the few systems that retains an emission compliant closed system (except CA), and provide full time evacuation using 2 separate evacuation vacuum sources, there is no better solution period. So aside from the obvious, our system also aids in ring stability and seal and a reduction in knock retard. Many make the mistake of assuming since the blower is not full of oil they do not need one when the primary benefit is extending engine life in many ways. |

When Chapman installed my 390 a few months ago, they put a MM Race CC on it but I have yet to see any oil in it

I have the Elite Engineering catch can on my car as well. It is an awesome product! I had the MM can prior, and it didn't even come close to comparing. The elite system has a dual vacuum system that uses a scavenging port in the intake tube at WOT, and engine vacuum at idle and part throttle (double check valved to prevent back flow). It is a sealed system, so no potential for overfilling the can and spraying oil all over the engine bay. It provides more than adequate crankcase venting for 731whp on my setup on road course.
