LT2 cover rubbing hood liner.
I knew it would happen, Just wondering if anyone running the LT2 intake and cover, come up with a way to not have it rub the hood liner.. other then removing the liner.
Is there a way to pull the cover tighter to the manifold in the front?

I like what this guy did. skipped the cover and shaved the manifold.

I am in the same boat. I have everything ready to install but haven't even purchased the cover yet because of the rubbing issue. I don't want to do that until I have a fix for it.
My idea is to shave down the front area where it rubs, and probably paint over it. Personally I probably wouldn't do a great job at that which means paying for somebody else to do it. Edit* Was just looking this up and I see it rubbing on the pre facelift hoods, does it have the same issue with the middle vent hoods? It looks like it rubs right around where the vent is but its hard to tell. Edit 2* It apparently does rub right behind the vent so yes, its still a problem.

I bought another cover and just shaved down the front about 3/16's. Just going to paint it and put it on and see if it rubs as bad.
