I just had the Continental Extreme Contact DWS06+ put on earlier this spring. I was IMMEDIATELY impressed with the much more comfortable ride over the stock run flats. They've been great in the rain, have never felt like I was going to break traction. Even drove through snow once and was surprised by the traction & acceleration at one point. I just finished a 3200 mile trip from WI to FL and back, and drove through plenty of rain. At one point I had whiteout conditions for a stretch. Yes I had to slow way down, as did everyone else, but these tires handled it all. I couldn't be happier with them.

Circling back to the MRR 017's. I received the wheels today from Wildhammer. Very pleased with the color and finish. The gun metal is just as I had hoped since I was a little concerned that they wouldn't be dark enough. I do have a complaint. One of the front rims is visibly darker than the other three and I didn't notice until I unpacked all of them. It's the one on the right. Luckily, one of the 4 boxes is visibly older than the the other three and the date code on that box is older than the rest. I'm hoping Wildhammer will swap that one wheel for another with a similar date code, so that all will match. Do you think Wildhammer will accommodate my request?

MRR is fantastic to deal with. I'm on my 3rd set of wheels from them. Carlos is a great guy.

Very satisfied! I purchased thru Wildhammer but the wheels ship direct from MRR. MRR classified the wheel as "discolored" and provided me with a return label right away. They shipped the replacement before they received the return from me. That's how you do it

+ 1...Carlos at MRR is definitely a great guy to deal with!!! I've traded emails with him and actual visited him in person at MRR in SoCal. He addressed an issue I had with my M228s.

So I've been running the Conti EC Sport 02's for over a week now. Still no real rain here so pretty much dry roads. This is the first set of non-runflat tires that I've run on either of my Camaro's. I must say, not sure if I'm imagining it, but the car seems to accelerate much quicker and throttle response seems much better. It corners like it's on rails now. Is it me or is this due to the tires?

I remember swapping away from those run flats and everything just felt "better".
I don't think it's you.

My factory run flats stayed on 28k miles. I am on my second set of non run flat summer tires. The factory run flats are awful.

I've had the Indy 500s on since 2022 in 285/30/20. They are excellent tires, comfy ride, great grip dry, great grip in the wet. They're not even half worn down yet at 15k miles. Would buy again, also the tread pattern is gorgeous AND effective. I see you with with ECS2, how do you like them?

I still have the stock Supercar 3's and I honestly like them. I never drive in wet, rain or snow conditions so for me they are great!!! I see they don't make the 305's for the rears I would need in the Indys, so if they come out with my size I'll give them a try , but if not then I'll just buy another set of the Supercars again. They hook good for me when I need them to.

It took me a while to give up the security of those run-flats. I'll never go back, this is how the car should handle!! Thanks David
