Fuel filler flap broke off...
So I had a hard time getting the gap pump nozzle into the filler neck yestday. Found that the little flat that seals the tank off broke off and is loose inside the filler neck.
As luck would have it, the 3/36 expired around first week of March. I do have a $0 ded GMPP platinum coverage plan. Before I go down the route of finding a decent dealer nearby and logistics of getting the car there and back.... From looking a tthe G parts catalog it it looks like its the whole filler neck . It appears to be attached to a flexible pipe (couple of hose clamps?). This could be a real pain in the ass to remove of reasonably straight forward. Anyone been through the gyrations of getting that thing out? |

Take a look at page 22-23…looks like it may be covered under warrantee. (It’s a 2023 warrantee book, but I assume the coverage is the same as 2021). https://www.chevrolet.com/bypass/pcf...UG29_Rvsd1.pdf |
