2024 ac stopped working
Anyone just have their a/c stop working? Its blowing warm air and the compressor is running. Tried to look for a fuse in the trunk and cant find it.

If the compressor is running and the air is warm it sounds like a blend door is not working properly. On a 2024, this is a dealer warranty issue.
There is a lot more a DIY'er could check, but a dealer will have diagnostic tools that allow them to check the individual damper motors. |

I did on a almost new 2015 GT Stang. They had a run of cars that had A/C go out on the 15's.

I had the wire break that goes to the compressor control solenoid on the back of the compressor. If there is no power to it, or it goes bad, the compressor will not make any pressure. The bad spot in the wire is buried in the harness, behind the compressor in a place I can't get to so I ran a new wire around that spot to get power to the solenoid. The variable displacement compressors work different than what I was used to, so it took me a little bit to get it figured out.

Yes, the compressor control valve is a pulse width modulated solenoid, controlled by the BCM to allow refrigerant to the back side of the wobble plate which in turn changes the angle of the plate. When it's not working, the plate runs at zero angle therefore the pistons don't reciprocate and no pressure is made. They have been in use for a long time now.

Falling into the obvious category, are you sure all of your interior vents are open? Just one being closed cuts airflow enough to drive head pressure in the system up enough to reduce compressor output.
My wife likes to be cool but cannot stand to have air blowing on her. My attempts to explain how these two things are mutually exclusive are, even after 46 years, futile. Assuming the vents are open my money is on a blend door. |

I think it was a stuck blend door. Its working now but
When it went out i remember hearing a clunk inside The cabin. Well, its working again so thats good. Now the blower motor in my house ac took a dump. $2700 for the original motor. |
