Unfortunately someone tried to steal my car at 6am this morning. They destroyed the keyhole trying to pick the lock (they were successful) but didn’t steal any items from the car nor could they drive off in my car.

I’m here looking to get an idea of the cost to fix the keyhole on the driver side door. Can the dealership fix this or do I need to contact a specialist for this?

Dealership and any locksmith will just buy a new part and install, the downside is then you’d have a new physical key that’s different from your glove box and won’t match if you ever try to get the key cut from the VIN alone
