Which oil filter - 2022 1LE
I am reading older threads here with various suggestions on oil filters.
Which good performing oil filter should I be going with so that I am not denied a warranty claim on my 2022 1LE. AC Delco PF64? Wix 10290?

If warranty is a concern, stick with the ACDelco PF64, whichever the current part number/revision is.

Anything wrong with the Delco PF64 that makes you want to change it?

But because of the warranty I am sticking to the OEM filter. As a side note, I ordered a PF64 from Amazon yesterday and it has international packaging. When I saw the chinese writing I got worried.

I have the same packaging, and I got mine from the dealership. I have seen comparison videos of knock off filters and spark plugs, so just be careful ordering from Amazon

There was considerable discussion here about which filter to use and it was noted the newer PF64 has a bypass setting which is specified by GM engineers for the engines used in the Camaro(22psi). Most other filters often have lower bypass levels or don’t specify their bypass rating. The idea is starts in cold weather conditions might cause the filter to bypass allowing unfiltered oil to circulate. Some people offered the rumor that using anything other than the spec’d filter will/might void your warranty. I don’t believe this is true and I know of nothing published by GM confirming this, although there was a TSB which details the concerns.

I tend to go between Amsoil, Purolator, and K&N
