Front splitter options 2017
Well, I fked up. I always back in to parking spots and of course when I don't, crunch I have a 2017 Fifty edition in the Metallic Grey and tracked down that it is part # 84116178. Also my luck that now they have discontinued selling it from the factory and none in my area have any in stock.
Are there any aftermarket ones that retain the same factory look? I don't want carbon fiber so if it's not already painted, I'd need to have that done. I saw RPI designs had one for pretty cheap and also painted, but read on there that they are a little sus. I am trying to track down one from dealerships across the country but it's proving frustrating. Plus I've seen some posts here that suggest oem is prone to breaking and should upgrade. Any suggestions would be appreciated where I should be looking for a replacement. Thanks J |

As far as I know, several OEM body parts are manufactured by ACS Composite, you might get lucky if you try contacting them directly.
Unfortunately, I don't think gray finish is an option with any vendor I've seen apart from RPI, you would need to buy a primed part, then have it painted by a body shop (or yourself, if you feel adventurous), which makes it even more expensive. Alternatively, you could buy a different color OEM splitter, whatever is available, and get it repainted in your paint color. I was able to source a gloss black part (84116178) during the lockdowns, but of course that may well be old news now. One thing to look out for with aftermarket parts is that they are often hollow at the bottom and only have the visible upper section, presumably to save some money (see a pic of the RPI Designs front splitter below). With side skirts, there is hardly any other choice for an SS (apart from hacking on the integrated ZL1 rockers), my side skirts are also hollow despite being expensive C7 Carbon parts, but with the front splitter you should go OEM, it has a full profile that is way superior. Just my 2 cents'.

EOS could be an option if you want an unprimed one to have painted. The biggest issue with their products seems to be their marketing - it isn't always easy to tell which product fits which car.
My install is on the newer front end, but there is some info in the video description about how to figure out the correct part for your car... https://youtu.be/KSjxI-sTl2A |

I ended up getting a factory one. The p/n 84116178 came prepainted as was suggested in other threads to the Nightfall Grey that the Fifty is in.
