I am running the 28” et street fronts. They are dot and will have them on the car from here on out until the car gets put away for the winter. The track is a hr drive for me. No issues

On my 4th gen I ran the S/S and it was a great tire. I was actually thinking about selling these Rs and front Hoosiers......then going with the S/S for the rear and either the sportsman S/R or if I could get away with it the already mentioned ET street fronts. It's such a compromise living so far from the track. Looking good dude. Do you drive much on the street with that drag pack setup? If so, what PSI?

I don’t drive the car much. Just for fun or filling it up.
Just gotta take it easy around turns and such. If was a spot to lift the front in one shot, I’d run stock fronts and swap to skinnies for the ride to the strip. I believe 27 in the rear and 34 in the front The sportsman’s are really heavy. I had them for a couple weeks and switched

The weight of the sportsmans is what makes me wanna go with the mickey fronts but I dont wanna get too greedy either. Ehhh, maybe I'll just stop being a bitch and swap the hoosiers at the track. I change my mind all the time

Lifting these cars is risky you need to make sure the jack is placed really well and the jack is rolling freely. It takes me a long to swap fronts. At the track does suck
The rear, I just lift on the diff and swap like I’m in the pits at nascar, it’s less than 5min total

Risky? I never thought of it as that. I made my own pinch weld jacking pucks. I change one wheel at a time and the tire doesn't need to be high off the ground. The low profile racing jack has a solid roller on the front and two smaller wheels on the back. It moves as much as it needs. It's rated at 1.5 ton. I feel plenty safe doing it

I would say it’s risky from the stand point damaging the car due to rushing or not having good light when lining up the jack.
You gotta look at early posts here where the jack slips off if you’re not using a good pinch weld puck or if your jack wheels get hung up on a stone. The jack comes off the pinch weld and onto the fender low rear mounting point and wrinkles the fender sheet metal. Not good A good puck helps My point was more on the amount of time it takes to jack up twice vs once. It takes more care than lifting on the diff. It’s not 5 min

Definitely agree there and that's why it's up to one's own mechanical ability's to feel comfortable with whatever it is you're doing. It's also a good point you brought up the "slipping" and THAT, is the very reason I made my own pucks. The popular ones that everyone buys that bolts on, I don't like them. My pucks fit snug around the pinch weld and the groove is deep enough that the whole surface area of the puck sits flat all around the pinch weld. There's no teetering or top heavy circus shit going on with these. Solid! I changed my fronts on a evening/night with almost 3000DA. Long pants, T shirt....It was not very comfy putting that helmet on and not allowed AC running. That's the whole reason for the thread, but like I said, I change my mind all the time
