Discount Tire SS1LE Wheel/Tire Package incorrect?

So looking to get another set of wheels/tires for the winter and looking to keep the same stock specs 285/30/20 fronts and 305/30/20 rears. After putting in my car specs, discount tire gives me wheel sizes as low as 9 inch up front and wants to mount a 285 tire on it. This can't be possible as the wheel is too narrow. Not able to get a hold of their sales dept but gotta imagine this is wrong.

You can mount a 285 on a 9" wheel. Whether that's within recommended rim width specs depends on the specific tire and its sidewall dimensions and wheel diameter.

According to one tire manufacture, approved rim width for 285/30/20 is 9.5 to 10.5"...

The SS 1LE has 10" wide rims in the front and 11" wide rims in the rear...

Right, which is what I was trying to get to - that the 9inch rim is too narrow for a 285.

You can look for 275/35 and 285/35 if you can consider alternate sizes in winter on your OE wheels. I run these sizes. Options are really limited in the A/S and/or winter performance categories if you stay in those OE sizies.
