“Sources” say Chevy will build more ZL1s for ‘24 than ‘23
According to GM Authority, GM will build more ZL1s for the 2024 model year than it did in model year 2023:

This is great but I think there is a catch 20. Say 1200 ZL1's were made last year. 12% means that will be 1344 this year. Of those 1344, 350 + 56 will be reserved for special editions. Making the total this year for regular ZL1's 938.
It is definitely better than having the 406 come off the original 1200 number but it is amazing how these releases make it sound so much better than it is. Again, these aren't real numbers, I just used them for an example. |

Part of me wishes they would just say no more ZLE's, but the fact that they haven't gives me hope.

Plus, how many ordered ‘23 ZL1s that were never built because of constraints (like the rear spoiler being held for the CEs) were shifted into this number for ‘24 production? In other words, is the total production for ‘23s and ‘24s really larger than originally planned, or is GM just moving the same numbers around to create a good headline?
