Great list.
I’d also ask for a physical copy of the owners manual. I had to argue with the parts counter to get a free copy when I bought my ‘19 1LT a few years ago. Also, ask about the Performance Supplement for 1LE equipped cars. Ok, so I see the list, I check everything but what do I do if I find something wrong? For obvious things that are under warranty like heated seats not working it's more or less clear. But what about dings and scratches? Are they supposed to fix those before you pay for the car? Are they supposed to promise to fix it later? Are they supposed to give you a discount based on defects? Or it's "take it or leave it"?
Basically, how would you use the results of this "inspection"? |
