I'm confident now that Eaton has released the rotor pack that applications will soon follow for the popular models. Now, whether or not there will be a justifiable delta over their 2650 model remains to be seen but, I can guarantee testing will ensue. Especially since their previous attempt at this rotor pack size was not a success.

Im running into fueling issues with the 2650 as it is. That is really going to push a stock fuel system overboard.

I'm one of the guys running TVS2300 and have been waiting for this! Agree with the fuel situation but hoping that it could be run in very efficient state on the stock fuel system plus the 50/50 meth/water I run.

With the bigger rotor packs, what's going to happen on the cooling side? We only have so much room under the hood.

I'm sure this blower has been well thought out but a bigger blower is not always better if you can't use it within its efficiency range. Hellcats had this issue with the 4.5L Whipple blower, it barely outperformed the stock 2.4L and 2.7L blowers and it generated a ton of heat doing it because in order for it to perform at its best, it needed a LOT of boost pushed through it.

Apparently the TVS2650's require high revving in order to make the boost they need to make power on these engines already. I don't know who would in their right mind move up to a TVS3100. Bigger isn't always better people.

I think there are 3 threads now on the 3100, if Magnuson is using the 2650 case as I'm sure they are since I've seen some videos of Magnuson testing the Jack Shaft and our under-hood version then you'll have no problem fitting the 3100 on any of the Gen6 Lt1 or Lt4 platforms. Just hold on till after Sema and you'll probably see some announcements. With the back logs of 2650s at 18 to 20 weeks don't expect it real soon. The 2650 may still be a better application for most Lt1s or even Lt4s depending on the mods. The 3100 may be more beneficial to the bigger inch motors with ported heads, cam and headers.

Did the 2300's price drop when the 2650 came out?

Are they even making them anymore? I know when I bought a 2300 for my Z06, Magnuson had already discontinued that blower.

I will definitely try because the 2650 is going to be out of steam soon.

The point was, was it discounted at that point since it was discontinued due to the emergence of the 2650? Hence will the 2650 be discounted with the emergence of the 3100?

If you read Eaton's description of the rotors, it's obvious they are targeting the aftermarket specifically, versus the 2650 where they sold it to auto manufacturers.
I honestly don't expect them to discontinue the 2650 as it will suit 99%+ of people. To fully utilize the 2650 you already need to build the engine and fully build the fuel system with port injection. The only thing that has made me doubt that theory is looking at the pricing listed on Harrop's site. Granted, it's in AUS, there is less than a $1k difference between their 2650 and 3100 offerings for our car. If I was buying something, I certainly wouldn't get the lesser of the two for that small of a difference.
