Value, yes another thread of price
Before I post for sale, what’s a good start price, kbb and what I see people asking are way different. 2018 zl1 1le with 20,500 miles on it.. 60,000$?

ZL1/1LE's are very rare regardless of Model Year. Even used ones with lots of miles will command a pretty penny.

I try to keep up with the latest, if you are the only owner I would say you could probably get more like $63-$68k private party but a trade in or dealer sale I’m sure they would lowball something like 50-55

Why are used prices for ZLE's high? I'll leave this right here

1LE is about $5-6K over a standard ZL1 in pricing. I see people asking up to $70k for one like yours, doesn't mean they are getting it though. If you're not in a rush to sell, always start high and lower as needed.

Worth noting, rare and desirable are two different things and not always mutual. Not saying the 1LE isn't desirable but some people tend to think that just because something is rare that its worth more.

Actually the 1LE is the least desirable. The local dealerships run from them on the used market big time.

Much harder to find a used manual ZL1 than a ZLE in my experience.

Having followed prices for a while, ~$60K sounds about right assuming no wrecks, original owner (or at least not 3-4 owners), and you want to get it sold. A stale listing for an unsold ZLE is itself telling you something about what the right price ought to be. The market seems to be really softening up.
You could also just take it by a dealer, see what (if) they offer, and adjust up from there. |
