I got a new 2ss with the copper free brakes. What deflectors am I supposed to have? The car came with none, but as I understand it they should have.

If it is a non- 1LE SS then there should be a set of large deflectors in the trunk. At least this has been the case for the copper content HP1000 pad packages that have been the norm prior to 2022. Pics below:

Those large track deflectors do come in the trunk, but they are unsuitable for street use unless every road you ever drive is clean, smooth and freshly paved, as they extend down way too low.

As you suspected, the standard deflectors with part numbers 23383583 and 23383584 should already be installed on the car. Ask the dealership where they are, don't run your car without them, because in addition to guiding air to the brakes they also protect the lower control arms from road debris.

Thanks for those replies. Yes indeed it is a 2ss without 1le, but there was nothing in the trunk. I just wanted to confirm this was still supposed to be included with the copper free brakes since they are also used on 1le/ZL1. My dealer of course is clueless.

From the language in the manual (and your pictures), it sounds like these are the parts in the trunk:
1)tall deflector
2)small splash shield.

Just trying to itemize what needs to be provided if they need to order it.

EDIT: Just got under my car, I do see the standard deflectors installed. So it seems the tall deflectors and small splash shields are missing. I don't expect to visit the track soon, however paying 50k for the car I want everything included in case I do.
EDIT2: I think this is the correct part number: https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-pa...bC12OC1nYXM%3D

Dealer "borrowed" them hoping that you wouldn't notice.
