Why does GM do this???
My car is sitting at the railyard In Jacksonville, FL less than 10 miles from my dealer but he can't go pick it up due to some stupid union transport contract he says?? I just need to get it ASAP before this storm hits. It pisses me off.

Once it goes out the door at Lansing, other parties are in control of the car. Moving it in the lot, loading on a train, loading on a truck, etc. are handled by firms other than GM. If I were you, I would contact the location in Jacksonville and very nicely ask for them to help get the car on a load to your dealer. I have had very good luck doing this. Just don’t be an ass, or they will park it in the weeds.

I sometimes wanted my dealer to drive an hour to LGR and get my car, if that we're me I would have contacts out there for my customers, I might have failed but I'd have been knee deep in to trying it.

I know this is "off topic" of the OPs original post however I find "Why does GM do this?" to be apt title for my situation as well.
So I have seen no option LT1s on here with no spoiler on the decklid. LT1s with RS package have the "lip spoiler". I ordered the car with "body colored blade spoiler (black)" and NO RS package. The day I ordered, the manager stated the car would come in with the "lip spoiler" which would have to be removed and the "body colored blade spoiler" would then be dealer installed. I really didn't think any thing of it at the time. Well car hits the lot on Monday and he is correct. Waiting for them to PDI and swap spoilers so I can take delivery. "Funny" thing is the window sticker shows both the "lip spoiler" ($150) and the "blade spoiler" ($795) as options. I've' seen 1LEs come in with same spoiler (blade) already mounted (center piece on deck lid) and they only have to put on the side pieces
