Need help with key fob - stupid
Hey this is a fun one. My key fob battery was low so I replaced the battery. Nice and easy right. But, this S shaped metal part fell out of the key fob when I popped it open and I have no idea where it goes inside the fob. I only have one key and am having to use the physical key to get in and out of the car
![]() Tried searching google for just a break down of the internal parts and got nothing. Couldn't decide if it would be more embarrassing to post this online or to have to go into a dealer. Please help and feel free to make fun of me lol.

See thats the problem, underneath the green part, I guess, there is a thin metal "S" kind of shaped thing that flew out when I opened it lol. I've put it in a few different ways and its still not working. Just gonna run it by the dealership later and hope they know where tf it goes. I appreciate the pic though

Here it is. The metal piece goes on the key fob and is covered with a white silicone gasket. Then the green circuit board goes on top of that. My fob is for a convertible so your fob buttons will be a bit different.
