2016 Camaro Rs electrical issues

I went to put subs in the truck got everything hook up soon as I put the radio wire in the radio fuse the fuse blew and I started getting smoke from the passenger side of the dashboard now my radio does work even after getting new fuse im wondering if anything burnt out beyond the dash and if it’s an easy fix help!!!!!

Doesn't sound good... Do some electrical troubleshooting with a meter if you are capable.

Disconnect what you did and see what is working and not working and troubleshoot from there.

smoke suggests wire melting and perhaps burning completely out. if not module damage. Fuses don't really smoke, replacing it is a mistake until you correct the damage that produced the smoke and figured out what the cause was. replacing the fuse before that is risking additional damage.
