2018 Camaro Convertible Top Drip
I've owned my 18' SS Convertible for a month now and today we were having a very hard rain storm in Florida and while driving the car I got a couple big water drops from the "Passenger Airbag" LED plaque right in front of the rear view mirror. It dripped a few times and stopped. I never noticed dripping before that and it didn't drip for the rest of the ride after that, just stayed moist when I tried to slide my nail through the gap. My question is if it's normal for it to drip like that If it rains very hard. I checked the rubber seal and it looks pretty normal to me. I'll be getting a new top in the next couple months since my rear window has been peeling off, would that possibly also fix my leak if it's an actual concern?

Although I have a coupe, I'll still venture that this isn't normal. The factory does very intensive water intrusion testing, they spray the car down hard from several overhead "showerheads", then check for leaks inside the cabin. Water is definitely not supposed to drip from a panel that contains electronics.
Make sure you mention this as well when you take her in to have the new top installed, just in case some of the weatherstripping also needs replacement.
