I was at Wilson-Niblett a few days ago and they had 3 Corvettes (2 new and 1 used, all sold). If you order a Camaro or Corvette and it arrives in January during a snowstorm, they have indoor parking nearby and they'll hold it for you until spring. They get more allocations than other dealers but the downside is they also have a lot of customer orders. They're also a Calloway dealer.


Ontario Motor Sales had 5 or 6 new Camaros a few weeks ago so they also get more allocations than other dealers.


I haven't bought from either of them (yet) though.

Island GM vin N0121163 is the only Rapid blue zl1 in a manual in Canada in the 2022 production schedule. there may have been a GMO zl1 manual built between Aug 17th and October but highly unlikely. no additional Zl1's in rapid blue will be produced for 2022 MY.

So the Island GM M6 is mine. That makes it the only 2022 rapid blue M6 in Canada right?

Davis in Airdrie Alberta has been good so far. Spoke with the General Manager within seconds of walking in the door asking about 1LEs. Explained he moved a ZL1 the same week opening the door for another allocation. He knew all the specific real time constraints and quickly realized what I wanted was easily doable at that point in time.

Order for 2022 1SS 1LE with M6 in Rapid Blue was submitted the next day mid April. I'm 3000 with a TPW of 5/30. Zero push back on getting the Order Reference number, No mark up to mark down games. Better then MSRP. No BS... so far but I have faith.

I will follow up as we get closer to delivery as things shake out.

I placed my order for 2022 ZLE in Feb and got my order number in March, and I checked my status yesterday, and they said its entered into system, wating for acceptance into production, is that means the dealer has a allocation and anyone has an idea how long is gonna take for it to get picked up.

if its currently at status 1100 your finished. final dosp allocations were april 14th.
if your current status is 3000 then your getting a car.

Calgary Motor Products (CMP) Auto had an allocation for a 2022 Convertible V6 2LT Automatic, Shadow Grey Metallic paint that I placed an ordered for, on April 18, 2022. I upgraded: the wheels & entertainment; to a dark bowtie; and to dark tail lamps.

I received an email from GM Customer Care Ambassador on May 11, 2022 and this is what they said,

"I have located your order BNQSDN. Your order has a Target Production Week of 05/09/2022. While it was slated to be built sometime this week, it has not yet reflected the produced status. However, it is slated to be built. We would recommend reaching out in 2-3 weeks for another update as our system doesn't indicate when it will be built."

Hey all, new to the forum.
Had a 2022 2SS on order for the last couple on months with my dealer but it never did get picked up by gm, not surprised about it . So have changed the order to a 23, but my dealer shows no info on his side about 2023 years yet and I feel is hesitating about placing the order with gm. My question is .... are any folks getting Canadian orders placed into the system or is everything still on hold at the moment?
