Ask these Hennessey supporters to post up their current dyno sheet, build sheet, and track slips and you'll get nothing but the sound of crickets.
There are plenty of reputable shops out there with packages pushing similar numbers for thousands less and with just as good a warranty. |

My current build is in my sig. We've been over and over this topic on previous threads here. KaTech's price for 850 hp is the same as HPE's when you subtract warranty and shipping.

I would be embarrassed to post this. You barely made 700whp SAE and you spent 30k. Congratulations on the lowest hp and highest money spent award.

You and I have been over this far too many times. I spent $18k for ~725 wheel on 93 and ~750 on 100 oct.
If you hate HPE so intensely, then stay off of HPE threads. Other HPE fans don't post here because of haters like you and Blaq. Surely you've posted at least 100, "I hate HPE" posts.

The fact is John Hennessey screwed over many people, they charge a fortune for the same work others do. You buy there name and nothing else. There isn't a single thing you can say that will change my opinion so just accept my opinion or block me again. Also, its not just me and blaq, its half the people on this forum.

Hennessey has 2 packages.
The first one is the HPE850 and that is the one that costs around $20K on top of the price of a new ZL1. At that stage you are getting nothing more than a pulley, HF LTs, cam, ported heads, intake, install and tune. The Exorcist package STARTS at $55K ON TOP OF the price of the ZL1. So it is a minimum $55K upgrade. Now that package comes with everything that every other shop will offer and do and install and tune for about half the price. CSP - $26,175 https://www.cspracing.com/2017-camaro-zl1-package/ WX - $19,599 https://weaponxmotorsports.com/colle...o-lt4-packages VR- No price listed but I'm willing to bet it's a gang cheaper than $55K https://vengeanceracing.net/index.ph...superchargers/ Race Proven Motorsports - stage 4 is comparable to Hennessey 850 but is several thousand dollars cheaper. Stage 5 is comparable to Exorcist but includes a PC blower and meth kit and is over $20K cheaper. https://raceprovenmotorsports.net/co...mance-packages So it is absolutely true that you can get the same or better performance from shops with a much better reputation and that didn't screw people over in the past and for a significantly lower price. |

As far as these "warrantys" go, they are not what you think. Which is why you have to read what you are buying and signing BEFORE buying and signing. Most of these warrantys simply state that the shop will cover any failures related to the installation of the parts. And trust me, no shop is gonna call you and be all "hey man yea our mechanic didn't install the cam properly and that's what destroyed your engine so we're gonna cover it"...not ever gonna happen. And it doesn't cover parts that may fail that have nothing to do with the install. So if you drop a valve, that's on you. If your oil pressure tanks and you scorch a bearing, that's on you. If your fuel leans out and your engine goes boom, that's on you. And they have a lot of stipulations on what you must do in case of a failure etc. It is best to look at the warranty and make sure you understand it before you buy it. Because it does not mean that any and all failures are covered. They are very detailed and typically, these warrantys cover absolutely nothing.
