Anyway, I had tried to order a 2022 1SS but after 2 months it was still sitting at status code 1100... meanwhile I found one that was close enough a few hours away, so I cancelled my order and will be picking up the new car in January.

It's a Riverside Blue Metallic with 1LE and PDR and red seat belts (I wouldn't have ordered the red seat belts but think I'll enjoy it anyway.)

I'm thinking to get the black lug nuts myself and maybe the sueded knee pads.

I'm looking forward to picking up the new car and will post pics here when I do.

Unfortunately I sold my 2018 Camaro when I moved because I didn't want to pay for the shipping, but I've regretted it and been kicking myself since...

Initally I was settling for a 1SS here in NC because a dealership had an allotment for one. Then I found this jewel in Woodbridge VA. Sent an email Monday night got a phone call Tuesday morning. Got on the road from Raleigh NC to Woodbridge Va Wednesday morning and knocked out the paperwork after talking them down 8k (they were trying me...lol). Drove back to Raleigh so that was a full workday 8 hours round trip.

Thing is I never test drove one when I was visiting dealers in Raleigh because if I did I would have brought a used one. Well took her out today for the first time and man I can tell you what. Love that decision because it was simply awesome. Wasn't a fan of the Racaros at first but they aren't that bad. I'll adjust because this baby is a keeper.

Side note when I initally talked to the salesman he had informed me they had just got the car in and it was on the lots less than 24 hours when we talked. I was on it like a hawk. LOL

Congrats on your purchase, and welcome to the forum.... from a fellow 2SS 1LE owner! Nice to see another Triangle area 1LE owner. I live in Cary.

You weren't by chance driving around today just south of Rt 64 on Rt 751 were you? For 1/4 mile I was behind a blue 1LE and didn't get a chance to say hello.

2019 ZL1 I have some 20x11.5/20x10.5 Bright Chrome PVD coated Forgeline GS1R’s on order. I will post some pics when I get them on. These were taken when I was getting a full front PPF install. Picked it back in July with 1,250 miles.
