Haha I totally understand what you mean with red and black because I just did the same thing as you! I did however seen the rapid blue camaro ZL1 and it was nice so I knew it was the right color.

I've only seen a ZL1 in Rapid Blue but it looked fantastic. Currently have a 1SS 1LE and 1SS convertible ordered in RB and can't wait to see them in person.

That's funny lol, I just traded in my satin steel metallic also for a rapid blue order. I have to wait awhile for it, but since I store it for the winter anyways and trade ins are so strong I thought now is probably my best chance.

My '96 (bought new) is black as is my' 03 2500HD (also bought new). So I've had black cars for nearly 26 straight years.

Then years ago I had a bright '91 RS (first new car) and my current daily driver is a bright red 2013 Sonic. So 8 years of red there plus however long I owned the 3rd gen.

I still like them but couldn't bring myself to add another.

I wish there was a dealer within driving range of me to go look at one.
I'm supposed to place an order with a dealer Tuesday and every time I settle on Rapid Blue I come across a photo that makes it look SUUUPER light and I go back to Vivid Orange. Then I see a different photo and come back to Rapid Blue.

It's not pale or light. That was my concern as well. In fact, after initial interest I dismissed it as a possibility precisely because of that concern and what I saw online.

Unfortunately getting eyes on one in person is the only way to be sure.

I've seen numerous Rapid Blue C8's in the wild here in FL.
Nice color however its too bright for me, but the Mrs loves it.

Almost attention whorish. Mix it up with some black and it looks way better.
Its a great color for the Miami or Socal area.

Add 1LE or the black mirror & spoiler option for only $100 if you go with it.
