FYI my dealership has 2 ZL1 1LE, both manual just sitting in the lot.

I need mine to be a convertible or I would have gotten one of those. Capital Chevy in Austin.

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like there is one left and it's a Red Hot 2021, M6 ZLE if anyone is interested. I'll stay in line for the 2022.

What's on the lot is carrying ADM from what I'm finding......so I just ordered a 22....

ZL1 is constrained right now, I inquired non-specifically about my order but about allocations JoeP is getting.

FWIW - I have no insider knowledge, but from what I've seen online the major constraint on the 1LE package is the availability of the rear wing.

Does the 2022 ZL1 have an encrypted ECU ? ie. can the engine be tuned like the 2019 ZL1 ?
It probably has the T93 TCM, but I am reading that some company has been able to modify the T87a TCM to work in the 2020 and newer ZL1's and it can be tuned for shift points and torque management.

If anybody knows more about this, please let us all know before we place an order for a 2022 ZL1

I haven’t pulled the file on a 22 yet, but I don’t see Gm changing the ecm strategy with the end coming. It should be same as 21 on the ecm side.
