It would still be good to see the sources. Comparing them to other ones may help answer the questions you pose.

If you trust the graphs provided from JHU, here's their info on Sweden (61.57%) and Israel (61.55%) vaccination rates.

My opinion is...
  • Everyone will either be infected with COVID, be vaccinated or both.

  • The number of Cases does not equal the actual number of COVID infection. Many more people were mildly ill after infection or didn't even know they had it.

  • COVID infection is ~equivalent to vaccination. Many on both side of this thread debate recently posted data from Johns Hopkins. Here is their take.

This study from Israel, available as a preprint and thus not yet peer reviewed, found that the rates of SARS-CoV-2 breakthrough infections in vaccinated individuals, while very low (highest rate = 1.5%), were significantly higher than the rates of reinfection and hospitalization in previously infected individuals.

When Dr. Fauci was question about natural immunity he was evasive. My opinion is he did so because it doesn't fit the "narrative". Of course the CDC has already considered it. There is video in the link.

  • If you are healthy and under 40, your risk from COVID infection is negligible. Both CDC and State data show this.
  • Mandating vaccination is un-American. Certain politicians don't want to let go of the control they were given.

It appears I used the worldwide vax rate of 31% in Sweden’s graph box. Still curious about what’s going on in Israel? Did Sweden get a different jab?

And the fact I had to retract a stat and flip flop, only makes me sound more like a Covid “expert!”

I only posted that to illustrate some of the psychology of how people think. Regardless of where you stand on political issues, or over this whole COVID debacle, the psychology behind human emotion and thinking speaks loudly to every facet of life. Not just this COVID discussion.

If you sent a child to school with any of those, that child would be sent home immediately and wouldn't be allowed to come back without clearance from a doctor. And DYFS would be called on those parents.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cnb...lta-surge.html

Gov. Greg Abbott said Thursday that Texas will get 2,500 more medical personnel to help battle this summer's Covid surge.
Texas began requesting external assistance just two weeks ago, when Abbott announced that 2,500 out-of-state medical workers were needed to respond to the delta variant.
Covid patients are taking up more than half of all intensive care beds in Texas as of Thursday, compared with 30% nationwide, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
