Paranoia right now about your Camaro?
Am I the only one that has paranoia about getting my Camaro stolen or totaled due to how it's hard to find one right now (granted getting a bit easier as new ones are starting to roll out?)
I for one always get a bit nervous when driving it. Even with a fair market value for the car it would still be hard to find a 2016 Camaro with only 16k miles like mine was when I bought it. Most now have like 50k on them I see in that year range. I really lucked out finding 2016 2ss with only 16k miles, loaded up nice except for mag ride and sun roof. I wouldn't want to settle for a 1ss with low miles. |

Yep, I do, and who knows when this crazy market will settle down.

Nah if it gets stolen that just means I get something new.

No fear or paranoia here. Just joy.
Don't worry too much about what could happen while you are driving it, focus on the fact that you are driving it and what an incredible experience it is |

The last 3 times I've taken the car out:
1. Almost got t-boned by someone that ran a red light. 2. Blew out a tire. 3. Hit a deer. I'm putting the car back away for a few weeks until it goes in for heads/cam. |

With all the electronics built into these cars I highly doubt anyone could steal one and not get caught within a few hours. Especially the higher tier trims. The person would not only have to steal it but also disconnect and remove the OnStar stuff, Nav, and other stuff so the car can't be tracked. I doubt it would be worth it to anyone.

never worried about this in the past but here in vegas, it's full of idiots and a$$holes. i have always been the one to park out in the north40 end of the lot and take up 2 spots so no one dings my rides. I worry here about coming back out from what I'm doing and finding it keyed to hell.
we have 6 different door dings on our sonata all from the last 3 years of living in vegas. prior to moving here the car didn't have a single ding on it anywhere. white suv hit our pass rear door 2 weeks ago and left. can tell suv rear door from the dent. |

As Arizona_Droptop suggested, I do enjoy the hell out of the Camaro. I just drive defensively when on the highway or in high traffic areas. The rest I throw up to the gods with the rest of the owners on this forum, each time we take our cars out.

Being someone that has an r6 bike as another weekend toy, I’m just used to driving/riding like everything on the road is constantly trying to kill me. Just used to the paranoia at this point. Sadly.

The thing(s) I’m paranoid about: Parking next to another car (unless it’s clear it’s nice / well cared for), any truck with duel tires (tossing up rocks), dump trucks, morons that can’t keep away from the edges of the roadside…. another great way to get sprayed by debris.

I don't know but if you're so concerned over a SS Camaro as to make a thread over it, then you best just forget about getting a ZL1.
