Haven't gotten my summer wheels/tires yet, but here it is on the winder set - 19x8.5 ET35 without spacers (so they sit a bit far inward).

Thanks for the info, saving. I've always been happy with Continental's. I've had various Sport Contacts on other cars and DW on my last car. I think they perform well and are a good value. The times I've looked at them compared to to other brands on the Tire Rack chart they've always been the lightest too.

Long term you're putting more stress on the hub bearings, wheel studs and other suspension components. Depending on how everything is designed it might shorten the life of some of those components. If you're mostly cruising around and the roads are nice and smooth where you live, it might not actually matter that much... but if you're hooning your Camaro daily in the northeast, bushings and bearings will become a regular maintenance item.

And now with tires and the rest. Very happy with the weights at this size and still under factory weights for sure!

An older post, but for what it's worth, I'll add some verification of what is already here.
As i took the stock 245 / 275 silver wheel/tires off, I found the same weights. ~ 64 lbs for the rear, and 59-60 for the fronts. That was everything but the lug nuts. I replaced those with GM ZL1 wheels tires, and found them to be 59# front (285/30/20) and 62#rear (305/30/20). Also everything but the lugs. I weighed the car at certified truck scale, full tank of gas: 3740#. That is for a 2018 2SS NPP A8 sunroof. Last edited by Eric10905; 02-08-2021 at 01:54 PM. Reason: corrected typo on car weight |
