She's a garage queen. Only driven on sunny days. Never driven in the rain or snow.

Exactly! I keep her shiny at all times. After a Sunday afternoon drive I bring her home and clean her up. I have the time and still have the energy.

Sold it back to the dealer for MSRP. Have a deposit for another 21 LT1, should be in in a month or 2. Couldn't pass up the chance for GM to pay me about $1,000 to drive it for 3 months.

Incredible. Sold my 2SS last week to CarMax. It hit their website this morning and this afternoon it was gone. They basically marked it up 2,595 and offered a bunch of finance options...Just incredible. That's a one week churn.

Wow. As myself and other posters were talking, how do they stay in operation these places like vRoom, Carmax, Carvana? They offer a lot to buy your car (pay too much) and only mark it up a couple grand. Factor in building rental, paying employees, towing, insurance on the property and cars, etc. I can't see how they turn a profit. Especially places like vRoom. I've seen them do just 2k margins. They don't have a service center like a traditional dealer which makes a large chunk of their profits. |

One of the problems is they can't stay in business if they don't have cars to sell. They need customers on their websites and in their lots. That takes inventory.

Drove it to work in Orange County (KSNA) (from North San Diego County), plenty of idiot drivers out today for some reason (maybe simply because it is Kalifornia)... At least she made the 135 mile round trip unscathed... Past 4,500 miles on the clock today as well, not bad for 18 months of ownership... I need to drive it more, but damn she looks good sitting all clean in the garage...

The only thing I can think of is they offer financing to the types that have little to no credit so they will pay a couple grand more than the dealer even though the car has MORE miles on it usually. Then when the car gets repoed eventually they get it right back and will be able to sell it again 8 months later because they can't make the payments. Want that overpriced 1SS for 43k but no credit? No problem. We have 14.5 percent interest rate loans! |

Just like 38TransAM, I just got the 1500 mile oil change on my 2021 LT1 manual. Got the rear diff lube changed too. I took delivery of it 4 months ago. WFH makes it hard to get the miles on it, especially when she only makes an appearance on dry, no chance of rain days. I was diligent with the break in procedure per the manual; no full throttle, keep rpm under 4000, etc..
Finally put my foot into it yesterday. What a machine. The motor sounded like it wanted to suck in the air I was trying to breathe. 1st gear, even from a roll and going perfectly straight, is a spin fest on those skinny rear tires. But that kind of makes it fun, so now I'm reconsidering going wider. 100 mph comes so damn fast. I cannot imagine what a ZL1 with another 200 h.p. & tq. feels like; must be terrifying. I absolutely love the car. Just need an aftermarket exhaust. I was planning on getting a Cat Back system that bolted directly to the primaries, eliminating the secondaries, but nobody sells them anymore. So probably just start with an Axleback. |

You can get a Cat Back exhaust system from Gibson Performance Exhaust that deletes the secondary cats. They make a great exhaust system and they sound really good and they are no where near the price of the other competitors. Try looking into their site and see what you think. |
