I feel like they could’ve gone with a better spokesperson and saved some money. People aren’t exactly turning the NBA on in droves these days

Well, sports in general. Lots of lost viewers in general.

Didn't the old Sierra Denali when it had quadrasteer have the crab feature?

Yeah, 4WS isn't new, hell CT6 had it as an option. It's definitely something that the usual off road offerings don't have though.

If I recall correctly, the Denali rear steer only had about 2-degrees of turn and was only designed to improve parking and lane change capability. Hummer “crab mode” will have a lot more functionality.

It was around 12 degrees max and would switch modes depending on speed and steering input.

Slow speed = opposing steering for a tighter turn radius (GM tech data claimed Saturn Sedan turning circle).

High Speed = crab steering (same direction), but slow transitions hardly noticeable by any operator.

Geez...2,500lbs added to the 2.7TD due to its better than expected cooling capabilities, and 1,900lbs added to the 3.0TD.

I didn't expect that.

I remember everyone expected impressive towing numbers on the diesel but they had the entire pkg tuned for efficiency. A price cut and better numbers should help.

It's towing is limited by the A10 transmission ratings - went over this and was condemned for pointing it out...

Can't the 6.2 tow more with same transmission? I mean I realize we're approaching numbers light duty folks probably shouldn't be pulling anyway.....

Only when equipped with the Max Trailering Package which isn't available on the diesel - not sure why. Agreed on the last point, this is the only package that pushes the tow rating over 10,000lbs which isn't smart for 1/2 ton trucks.
