Turn signal indicator lights.

I know this sounds crazy but usually someone else has had the same crazy idea and solved it.
When I get the steering wheel where I like, I can't see the turn signal indicator lights on the dash. Has anyone come up with some kind of additional lights in a different location?

Well you learn something new every day.
When I read this I thought "I wasn't aware that there are turn indicator lights on the dash". So I went out to the garage and checked and there they were, hidden behind the wheel rim.

So yes, apparently I have the same problem in that I cant see the turn indicator lights, but in 40,000 miles of driving the car i havent missed them or felt the need to look at them.

Maybe try adjusting either the tilt of the wheel or your seating position (or both) so that you can see the indicators. It shouldn't take a significant change in either to change what you can see in the dash.

Doesn't the HUD have turn signals in it?

No. One of the views can show Lane Keeping Alert... That's as close as it gets.

That's why you can hear the flasher unless you have the radio volume up so high.

That's my point. I CAN change tilt or seat but that's not where I feel comfortable or in the best control.

I'd love to see more in the HUD. '96 Pontiac Bonneville had everything in the HUD and I don't understand why not now that it is even easier. Turn signals, brights, gas, speed and if idiot lights came on, oh it was really something back then! Now they think it's more important to let me know what song is on the radio.

Anyway, somebody give me 2 GREEN LEDs at the edge of the dash or the bottom of the panel. Please?

Gotta be honest... Having a hard time figuring out how you can't see them. For me, at 6'1", I would have to have the wheel "in my lap" to have my view cut off for the directionals.

Wheel up, seat down, seat reclined slightly, seat back a touch... there are a BUNCH of different little adjustments that you can make that should not make you feel uncomfortable but when combined, will open up your view of the directional indicators.

I knew they had turn signal indicators but wrong generation. Guess he'll have to get a 5th gen.

Leaving these off the 6th gen and not adding some configurability is pure laziness on the developers' part or artificial resource constraints enforced by program management (maybe both). Complexity here is nonexistent, it's just a simplified data renderer that could literally have been a labor of love from a bunch of interns.

Everyone's seating position is different. I put the wheel where I like it, then move the seat position so I can see the turn signals. For me (5'10" and 177 lbs) it's a very small adjustment and it works. May or may not for you. Give it a try - - and good luck!

I just think it's a bit odd that they didn't just copy the C7 HUD configurations. I mean, the HUD switches already come from the same parts bin, LOL.

My buddy's Mazda 6 GT had more info on the HUD for daily driving for sure. Not sure if it had turn signal indicators on it, though.

Just a few days ago I had my turn signal stuck on for the first time. Didn't hear the ticking until I heard a cyclist shout about it when I went straight instead of right at a stop sign.
