New Build on ZL1
So went off some builds I’ve seen on 93 and figured I would lose a little
Since I have 91. The more I’ve talked to people I made a mistake on my build So the Boostane was an option or Meth. Just not a fan of the the whole Meth experience. Some good, some bad. Anyone have any other ideas I could do, to save my ass? Lol ‘18 Zl1 A10 2650 Mag W/ 85mm pulley Katech 103 Big gulp Elite 2 Catch can FED ported LT4 heads Custom DMS cam with +32 lobe IW lower 9.11 lower pulley ARH Headers catless DSX Aux pump PLM Heat Xchanger . . And a couple other things. Goal was to be in the 750-800whp range off 91 I’ve seen a lot of people do 800-850 on 93. Looking to be in the low 10s high 9s with the car on A drag pack. I’ve heard “it will do it” then I hear “It won’t come close” definitely frustrating I appreciate any info or similar setups people were able to lay down the numbers Thanks |

What is the elevation where you live and race?
Did you ask your builder these questions?

You are going to lose 3% hp for every 1,000 feet elevation.

from the list of parts you listed, i see no reason it wont be over 700 despite your altitude.

Youll make 750whp with ease. I would consider not doing the heads as there isnt much gain there. Unless you want to squeeze every last ounce of power out.

My 2650 detuned on 93 with the meth shut off and it was rich as hell made 774 on the 80mm pulley and AFR was 11.0 at the end of the pull on just 17 degrees and probably needed a little more timing and some fuel pulled out of the PE tables. Ran out of time but needs a lot more tuning to get it back into the 12.0 range. So basically it made about 870ish on VP MS109, one nozzle of meth/water and 25 degrees of timing with a 75mm pulley. I think you'll be fine at your number or very close.

With not needing as much boost to run the numbers. Flowing more effectively being ported. I could be wrong though. . |

If money is not a limiting factor than of course it’s a good idea. You should make great power. Wouldn’t be surprised if you made 800whp even on 91 octane.
