Throttle body question
I wanna get my stock throttle body chrome or nickel plated, if it aluminum?? I would go with brushed/ polished aluminum. I think it would set off the engine bay with the other chrome I have going. Does anyone see a problem with doing this??

I would polish it and then clear coat it.
I think it would look good. Plating would require disassembling it and risking messing up the internals. It is either made of an aluminum or zinc alloy.

That should look really nice with all the other accessories.

It's aluminum.
You can remove the electronics and motor, but there are plastic gears that are pressed/bonded to shafts that don't appear to be removable. So plating is not an option. Polish and clear coat as suggested. |
