Ordering parts from the U.S
Where does everyone get their parts from? Best option is to just make a trip across the boarder to get parts but if that's not an option is there another way us Canadians can get parts from the States without getting raped in duty and custom fees?
Looking to buy some parts from ZL1 Adds ons and eventually a set of wheels. Would like to know what where everyone is getting their parts from. I'm in the GTA BTW. |

Many people will recommend opening an account with cross border pickups.
Good service, save on shipping as its US to US (usually free shipping). Can't avoid customs but can save time and money. Around here ACS is in Quebec but they're expensive. I've used Tdotperformance (exhaust, miscellaneous parts), ZL1 multiple times and then GM parts from the dealer Check out tire connection for wheels they're in North York great guys

I always order parts and get them shipped to a cross border company like Ship it Shop in Massena or Freeport Forwarding in Champlain NY.
On top of that, if you have the chance to pass by Quebec to get your part, you can save a tax. When I go to Massena by Cornwall, I only pay 5% instead of 15% (Quebec tax is 9.975%).

Yup. Cross border pickups.
2 locations. Mississauga and Markham. Not just car parts. Anything.

It only takes a phone call to have an account set-up at:
Kuhns Storage, 200 Portage Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14303. Phone Bryan @ 716-284-9941. They charge like $5 for receiving a package for you. They are 5 minutes from the Niagara Falls bridges.

Depends where you live I guess.
30 minutes for me to a Cross Border Pickups location Solid 2 hours to the border. Yes there would be fees with Cross Border. But gas and time cost money too.
