Winkles In Top
On the drivers side of what would be considered the "C" pillar on a coupe, the area behind the side quarter window has considerable wrinkles after having the top down. The top material seems to have more slack on the drivers side than the other side. Is there a way to take up this slack?

Bump
OK, it has been a while and read many times and no one has responded. So maybe I need to explain better.
What I described as wrinkles are actually fold creases. I tried capturing a picture but it doesn't show. The passenger side pulls tight stretching out the creases and the drivers side does not. Does anyone else have this situation? Does anyone know of a way to tighten this up? I am not concerned about the functionality of the top, just the cosmetic appearance of it. Thanks... |

I don't have this issue, but is there any chance you put the roof down while it was wet or stored it with the roof down for an extended period of time?

No. My car has just over 500 miles. Bought it in the fall and the weather got ugly here early this year. I've never had it in the rain and the roof has always been put up after a drive.

Unfortunately there is no one in my neck of the woods that could handle that. Nothing but redneck junk fixers. I do not trust the dealer either after seeing what they consider a delivery prep to be.

I had the wrinkle (loose) material on the passenger side at the bottom of the C pillar. The dealer adjusted the top and the problem is gone and has not returned.
