It should be noted that the NLS feature was only added on the 17+ models for the LTG.

I have a ‘19, so I’m good to go. Now if only I had launch control...

*Side note, I have all of the software updates that have come out for the car. Not sure if NLS was part of any of those updates??? Just a thought...

eeeh, What software update? I tried NLS today and it didn't work. It could be I need to really make sure about the press of the gas to the floor, but if its that finicky I guess its just not that compelling to me. I am only slipping the clutch enough to know its revving up. What they are saying is true, its a mind game, lol.
back to the original topic, the 1-2 shift rev has settled down. Can only offer it must have been an adaptive thing since I had just re-zeroed the ecu (put the race-chip loopback adapter on for a few cycles) after replacing my MAF sensor. I'm also running the XLR. |

you need to be at 95% throttle to be able to use the NLS as far I know or can remember

Okay I got it to work and it scared the sh*t out of me. It sounds like a jake brake, but it works. The trick to it was stay in low gear and slowly get close to the 4500 mark, then go to WOT and then it is easier to experience. Second time I let off the gas and it like returned to rev up again. It will take some practice. and clear roads. and no cops.

Going 3rd to 4th is the easiest way to try it out.

tried NLS
I tried out NLS 0-60 yesterday. It worked as advertised, but my times were terribly slow. I'm new at this so I need lots of practice. Nannies were on so I will try with TC off next time. All stock '19 LS mn6.
cheers, Mig |
