50th Anniversary Tire Fitment aka The Dead Horse

Morning guys and gals.

I am beating the proverbial dead horse but Ive not found enough supporting info searching the forums for front fitment. So here goes.

I have a 2017 50th Anniversary 2.0t. It come squared factory. I am debating staggered vs squared as I modify and track. Im pretty sure I want to stay square. Im getting the MRR M017. I was wondering if anyone knew if 305/30 will fit the front 20x10s. I know it eill the rear but again 20x10s. I plan on doing the afe loweing kit ie the 30s. Any info woud be awesome.

I seem to remember seeing somewhere here on the forum that it's possible but, you'll need spacers on the front. 305 is best on a 10.5" rim which you can't fit up front.

If you're planning on track use I recommend you dial back a little and save some rotating mass/weight. 285 squared would be a good setup on a 2.0t. Also even better would be to step down to 19" rims if you plan to lower the car.

Say maybe the 19" wheels APEX is doing a group buy on right now?

Here's a good thread to check out even though the car is an SS and yours is a 2.0T
19" wheels and tires on SS for Track/Street
